Job summary

Dollar General seeks a supervising professional for distribution operations in Indiana. You will oversee receipt, stocking, order filling, and shipment of merchandise, and may supervise staff operating warehouse systems and equipment.

You will plan daily production goals, review staffing with the inbound/outbound manager, and support safety programs while maintaining accurate employee records and performance reviews. Strong communication and conflict resolution skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of supervisory experience.
• Automated distribution center experience preferred.
• WMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises receipt, stocking, order filling, or shipment of merchandise.
• May supervise employees operating rolling stock or automated equipment.
• Reviews WMS reports and communicates issues to manager.
• Plans daily production goals and staffing levels with the inbound/outbound Manager.
• Participates in staffing reviews and employee development tracking.
• Interviews and counsels employees in partnership with Human Resources.
