Dollar General is seeking a Perishable Department Lead in Knoxville, TN. Under the Store Manager, you’ll oversee produce, meats, dairy, bakery and other perishables, ensuring efficient inventory, appealing displays and strong customer service.

You’ll train associates, enforce food-handling rules, track stock and markdowns, and support daily operations to keep perishable departments safe and profitable. A high school diploma and retail supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualificações

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and percentages.
• Ability to learn and perform cash register functions to generate reports.
• Ability to review statements and identify trends, expense control opportunities, shrink and errors.
• Knowledge of cash handling, safety policies, and inventory management.
• Willingness to obtain required certifications in food handling.
• Strong organization, interpersonal and written communication skills.

• Maintain inventory levels and monitor perishables, markdowns, and freshness.
