Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of retail experience and 6 months supervisory experience preferred.
• Attainment of required local/state food handling certifications, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in ensuring financial integrity and cash accountability.
• Maintain perishable stock levels and plan inventory using perishable guides and order schedules.
• Train associates in proper presentation, freshness, pricing, and safe handling of perishable products.
• Record perishable markdowns and analyze causes to prevent recurrences.
• Ensure customers' needs are addressed and maintain daily contact to understand merchandise expectations.
• Assist with sanitation standards and cleaning schedules in Perishable departments.
• Support other operational areas as directed by the Store Manager.
