Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Attainment of required local and state food handling certifications, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in ensuring employee compliance and financial integrity through cash control.
• Maintain perishable stock levels using Ads/Planners, order guides and history data.
• Train associates in proper stocking, freshness and pricing standards for perishables.
• Record inventory levels and analyze markdowns to prevent recurrences.
• Ensure customers' needs are addressed quickly and courteously; maintain safety and sanitation.
