Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous lead experience and/or grocery store experience preferred.
• Attainment of required local and state food handling certifications, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in ensuring financial integrity and cash accountability.
• Maintain correct perishable stock levels based on store volume using perishable tools and guides.
• Train associates in proper presentation, freshness and pricing standards for perishable areas.
• Record inventory levels and Perishable Markdowns, analyzing causes to prevent recurrences.
• Ensure customer needs and requests are addressed efficiently and timely.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation standards and safety rules.
