Job summary

Food Lion in Shelby, NC, is seeking a dedicated associate to provide quality customer service within the Perishable Department. You will help maintain standards, maximize sales through excellent service, and minimize shrink through proper use of standard practices.

Responsibilities include receiving deliveries, stocking, rotating meat, dairy, and other perishables, and ensuring compliance with Food Lion safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries, code where applicable, rotate and store merchandise appropriately.
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise meets policies.
