Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Perishable Department team member to deliver high-quality customer service and maintain perishable product standards. You will rotate, stock, and display items, assist with receiving deliveries, and follow Food Lion policies and safety guidelines to minimize shrink and maximize sales.

Responsibilities include friendly customer interactions, teamwork with associates, and adherence to dress code and training requirements. This role is on-site in York, SC.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly and accurate customer service in the Perishable Department.
• Receive deliveries, rotate stock, and ensure proper storage areas.
• Maintain product levels in meat, dairy, frozen and other perishable categories.
• Follow safety guidelines and company policies, and complete required CBT/training.
