Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service within the Perishable Department.
• Maintain standards in accordance with the standard practice manual, maximizing sales and minimizing shrink.
• Maintain atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly and accurate service.
• Receive deliveries, code where applicable, rotate and store merchandise.
• Ensure proper product levels in meat, lunchmeat, dairy and related areas.
• Wrap, label, weigh and stock meat case; assemble/disassemble and clean the grinder as needed.
• Clean and sanitize the department and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
• Observe and correct unsafe conditions and report accidents per Food Lion procedures.
