Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job (ACIS/CAO).

Responsibilities

• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, and accurate service.
• Courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Understand and use company tools such as ACIS and CAO.
• Receive deliveries, code where applicable, rotate and store merchandise.
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise follows policies.
• Maintain proper product levels in all perishables (meat, lunchmeat, dairy, ice cream).
• Wrap, label, weigh and stock meat cases; assemble and clean grinders as needed.
• Clean and sanitize the department and maintain layout standards.
• Follow Food Lion guidelines, safety procedures and dress code.
