Job summary

Food Lion in Durham, NC is seeking a Perishable Department Manager to lead the Perishable Department, hire/train staff, and ensure excellent customer service. You will oversee scheduling and productivity while driving toward budgeted results and maintaining food safety standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage the Perishable Department, including hiring, training and developing department associates.
• Supervise the performance of all duties and responsibilities of department associates and conducts performance appraisals.
• Daily management of labor and coaching of associates to achieve productivity.
• Provide leadership and motivation to promote a culture aligned with Food Lion values.
• Support the achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
