Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Perishable Department team member to deliver quality customer service and maintain department standards. Responsibilities include stocking, rotating, and displaying perishable items, receiving deliveries, and ensuring product quality and safety.

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced store environment, adhere to company guidelines, and participate in required training and CBT programs.

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly service.
• Be courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Understand and use store tools like ACIS and CAO.
• Receive deliveries, code, rotate and store items.
• Maintain product levels in Perishable Department (meat, dairy, frozen).
• Wrap, label and stock meat cases as needed.
• Clean and sanitize the department and maintain layout standards.
• Follow Food Lion policies and safety guidelines.
