Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Perishable Department associate focused on providing quality customer service and maintaining fresh, properly displayed products. You will support meat, dairy, frozen and lunchmeat areas, process deliveries, and ensure adherence to safety, sanitation and company guidelines.

Applicants should be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, and learn store systems while delivering a positive shopping experience to customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, and accurate service.
• Understand and use company tools such as ACIS and CAO.
• Receive deliveries, rotate and store merchandise appropriately.
• Maintain product levels in Perishable Department (meat, dairy, frozen, etc.).
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with safety guidelines.
• Follow Food Lion policies, dress code and safety procedures.
