Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a team member for the Perishable Department to deliver quality customer service, manage inventory, and maintain product freshness. You will assist with receiving deliveries, stocking meat, dairy, and other perishables, and ensure compliance with Food Lion policies.

The role requires good communication, reliability, and the ability to perform multiple tasks while maintaining safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service in the Perishable Department.
• Receive deliveries, rotate stock, and place items in proper storage area.
• Maintain product levels in meat, lunchmeat, dairy, and other perishables.
• Follow company guidelines and safety procedures; ensure proper display and stocking.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper adherence to dress code and CBT/training requirements.
