Job summary

Penn State Health seeks a fellowship-trained Peripheral Nerve Neurosurgeon to establish and grow a comprehensive clinical program serving patients across the Penn State Health network.

The successful candidate will deliver advanced surgical care, participate in resident and student education, pursue clinical research, and help expand access to specialized neurosurgical services in both academic and community settings.

Qualifications

  • MD/DO or equivalent medical degree.
  • Completion of an accredited Neurosurgery Residency Program.
  • Significant experience and/or Fellowship training in Peripheral Nerve Surgery (CAST Accredited Peripheral Nerve Fellowship preferred).
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurological Surgery.
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and surgical treatment for peripheral nerve disorders.
  • Develop and grow a specialized Peripheral Nerve Surgery Program across Penn State Health.
  • Deliver care in academic and community settings to expand access to specialized neurosurgical services.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated, patient-centered care.
  • Educate residents and medical students through clinical instruction and conferences.
  • Engage in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.
