Job summary

Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center is seeking a strategic leader to direct the Neurology & Neuroscience and Neuro Surgery Operations. This role oversees clinical offices, support services, patient care areas, and College of Medicine staff including research labs, with an emphasis on lean improvements and financial acumen.

The candidate will collaborate with multiple neuroscience departments and interfaces with affiliate departments and faculty to drive strategic growth and operational

Qualifications

• Master's degree in healthcare administration, finance, health policy, public health, or related field emphasizing management and accounting.
• Seven years of related experience required.
• Minimum of five years of managerial experience in healthcare administration.
• Documented clinical and/or academic management experience, including prior Profit & Loss responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Directs strategy, growth, and operational objectives of Neurology & Neuroscience and Neuro Surgery Operations.
• Provide daily operational oversight in clinical offices, support services, patient care areas and COM staff including research labs.
• Collaborate with Neuroscience core departments and affiliate departments; interface with Faculty across Penn State Health.
