Penn State Health is seeking a fellowship-trained Peripheral Nerve Neurosurgeon to establish and grow a comprehensive clinical program across its regional network. The role combines advanced surgical care with education and research in an academically oriented health system.

The successful candidate will build a dedicated Peripheral Nerve Surgery Program, collaborate with neurology, orthopaedics, pain management, and rehabilitation services, and participate in resident and medical student

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree.
• Completion of an accredited Neurosurgery Residency Program.
• Fellowship in Peripheral Nerve Surgery preferred.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurological Surgery.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and surgical treatment for peripheral nerve disorders.
• Develop and grow a specialized Peripheral Nerve Surgery Program across Penn State Health.
• Deliver care in academic and community settings to expand access to specialized neurosurgical services.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Engage in resident and medical student education and clinical research.
• Support departmental growth through outreach and referral network development.
