Job summary

Keck Medicine of USC Arcadia Hospital is seeking a Perioperative Services Tech to support the care and safety of perioperative patients. Under the direction of the Perioperative Staff RN, you will perform technical and support duties in the OR, PACU, and Pre/Post-Op areas.

Responsibilities include transporting patients, assisting nursing staff, maintaining equipment and supplies, and adhering to infection control practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum (Required) High School diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: One year as a nursing assistant or orderly in an acute hospital setting.
• Current Basic Life Support from American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from perioperative areas using proper body mechanics.
• Assist nursing staff in OR, PACU, and Pre/Post-Op areas with supplies and positioning.
• Adhere to infection control practices and aseptic technique.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment; ensure proper functioning.
