University of Southern California Arcadia Hospital is seeking a Perioperative Services Orderly to support patient transport and perioperative care. Responsibilities include moving patients, assisting nursing staff, and ensuring equipment readiness with a strong emphasis on infection control.

The role requires a High School diploma and a current BLS certification; one year of nursing assistant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification required.
• One year as nursing assistant experience preferred (not required).

Responsabilités

• Transport patients to and from the perioperative area.
• Assist in moving and positioning patients in the perioperative area.
• Support nursing staff in the OR, PACU, and Pre/Post-Op as needed.
• Gather and assemble supplies, equipment, or positioning aids.
• Maintain infection control practices and hand hygiene.
