The University of Southern California Arcadia Hospital is seeking a Perioperative Services Tech to assist with patient transport and perioperative care, ensuring safe movement of patients and equipment throughout the perioperative area.

Under RN supervision, you will help with positioning, gather supplies, stock in OR, PACU and Pre/Post-Op areas, and uphold infection control standards while maintaining a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Formación

• Must have High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year as a nursing assistant or orderly in an acute hospital setting preferred.
• Adheres to universal precautions and infection control practices.

Responsabilidades

• transports patients to and from the Perioperative Area using proper body mechanics.
• Assists nursing staff with patient positioning and care in OR, PACU, and Pre/Post-Op areas.
• Maintains inventory and proper functioning of supplies and equipment.
• Participates in new staff orientation and supports cost containment efforts.
