Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year prior work experience required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• Undergraduate degree preferred.
• Completion of a Medical Terminology course preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Previous health care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Perioperative Care Technician assists Physicians and Registered Nurses within Surgical Services, supporting objectives and policies.
