Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a procurement professional to plan, develop and implement clinical supply chain initiatives. You will manage capital equipment and supplies procurement, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with administrators, physicians and vendors to ensure cost‑effective solutions that maintain patient safety and quality.

You will supervise staff, oversee inventory management, and support budgeting related to supplies, reflecting Virtua’s commitment to quality care and community

Qualifications

• 3‑5 years of progressively responsible experience in purchasing or procurement activities.
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of capital equipment, instruments, implants, surgical supplies and non‑surgical supplies.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors; facilitate bid processes for best service and price.
• Lead Product Value Analysis Committee to select optimal products balancing safety, quality and cost.
• Maintain up‑to‑date Item Master File; oversee physical inventory counts; respond to product recalls.
