VCU Health is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist OR ASC to manage operating room and procedural area supplies, including stocking, inventory control, and distribution. The role uses barcoding for scanning, maintains PAR locations in the ERP, and collaborates with clinicians to ensure stock for upcoming surgeries.

You will lead a small team, train new hires, and participate in cost-saving initiatives, while following infection control and regulatory standards.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience in healthcare supply chain.
• 3+ years experience in healthcare supply chain in a procedural environment.
• Familiarity with replenishment, low unit of measure or point of use inventory processes.
• Understanding of procurement, logistics, warehousing and distribution.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with supply chain software (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle, JDA).
• Experience with barcoding and logistics systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication.

Responsabilidades

• Inventory management of OR/par locations and expiration dates.
• Stocking, restocking carts, and distributing supplies to ORs.
• Collaborate with OR staff to anticipate upcoming procedures.
• Troubleshoot supply constraints with Procurement and Inventory Control.
• Adhere to infection control and sterile handling protocols.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Serve as lead and mentor for new hires.
