Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with four years related work experience, including two years in a charge nurse/leadership role.
• Knowledge of nursing principles, perioperative care, standards, protocols and tools/equipment.
• FHS policies, regulatory/accreditation requirements applicable to the role.
• Healthcare delivery systems and standards of care.
• Clinical competencies and care standards/practices.
• Medical Necessity criteria and coding conventions for health information management.
• Supervision, development and performance management skills.
• EMR and related systems used to manage daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to a multidisciplinary perioperative team.
• Develop, implement and evaluate clinical policies and procedures.
• Manage staff scheduling, performance evaluations and professional development.
• Monitor KPIs, analyze clinical data and lead process improvements.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and other departments to coordinate patient care.
