Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with four years of related work experience, including two years in a charge nurse/leadership role
• Knowledge of nursing principles, perioperative care and clinical standards
• FHS policies, standards, regulatory/accreditation requirements
• Understanding of healthcare delivery systems and standards of care
• Knowledge of clinical competencies and health information management concepts
• Strong supervisory, coaching and performance management capabilities
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and daily operations management
• Ability to analyze data, identify improvements and implement corrective actions
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary perioperative nursing and technician team to ensure best clinical practices
• Manage staff scheduling, performance evaluations and professional development
• Monitor KPIs, analyze clinical data and drive process improvements for patient safety and satisfaction
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and other departments to coordinate patient care and optimize resource use
