CHI St. Anthony Hospital in Pendleton, OR, part of CommonSpirit Health, seeks a Surgical Services Supervisor to provide front-line clinical leadership for the OR.

You will oversee daily staffing, ensure regulatory compliance with The Joint Commission and CMS, manage resources, and drive quality improvement while fostering a high-performance team.

Strong decision-making, communication, and experience in OR supervision are essential, with a track record of improving throughput and patient safety.

Formación

• Oregon RN license required.
• Three years OR nursing experience with at least 2 years in the clinical OR service.
• AHA BLS certification.
• Experience with performance management.
• Experience assisting with orientation of staff.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily staff and room assignments to ensure optimal workflow and adherence to productivity and quality metrics.
• Direct human resources functions, including team orientation, performance feedback, continuing education, and corrective action.
• Monitor staffing skill mixes and manage departmental supplies and capital needs to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Maintain standards of care consistent with TJC, CMS, and hospital policies to ensure patient safety and organizational compliance.
• Lead and participate in departmental work teams to analyze outcomes, improve efficiencies, and drive evidence-based practice changes.
• Assist in the development of the surgical schedule and manage payroll activities to maintain precise unit operations.
