The role oversees budgeting, staffing, and education for nursing staff, drives performance improvement, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards while partnering with physicians and departments to meet service needs.

Qualifications

• Five years clinical nursing experience in Surgical Services.
• Three years perioperative charge nurse or supervisory experience.
• Master’s degree in nursing or progress toward completion.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate twenty-four hour operations of the unit and supervise staff.
• Develop and manage department budgets and productivity targets.
• Lead human resources activities and staff development.
• Drive quality improvement and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to optimize service delivery.
