Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking an experienced OR Service Line Coordinator (RN) to oversee clinical operations readiness and coordination for defined surgical service lines. You will act as the clinical and operational SME across people, processes, equipment, and physician engagement to ensure safe, efficient care.

The role requires a nurse with perioperative expertise, collaboration in a shared leadership environment, and a focus on standardization and service line optimization within MercyOne

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's degree required within five years of hire or transfer.
• Current Iowa RN license or ability to obtain (current IL license if working in IL).
• At least two years of relevant clinical experience.
• BLS certification within three months of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter training within six months of hire.
• Specialty practice certification preferred.
• Must work in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent perioperative nursing functions including scrubbing, circulating, case preparation, aseptic technique, equipment readiness, room turnover, and accurate surgical documentation.
• Collaborate with patients, surgeons, anesthesia, and OR team; support training and maintenance of preference cards.
• Participate in performance improvement and ongoing departmental education.
• Serve as primary clinical operations lead for assigned surgical service lines to ensure end-to-end readiness for procedures.
