Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Iowa RN license or compact license.
• OR experience preferred.
• BLS certification within 6 weeks of hire.
• Proof of Mandatory Reporter abuse training within 3 months.
• English reading, writing and speaking proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate on cases independently.
• Prepare for surgical cases and anticipate needs.
• Maintain aseptic technique and a safe OR environment.
• Communicate with patients, staff, physicians, and families.
• Assist in room turnover and turnover logistics.
