Yale New Haven Health Services Corp. is seeking a Perioperative Specialty Coordinator to organize patient care activities and serve as the primary clinical resource for the OR team in the designated specialty.

You will ensure quality nursing care and coordinate perioperative services under the direction of the Patient Service Manager. The role requires BSN, CT RN licensure, and at least 2 years in perioperative nursing, with at least 1 year in the specified specialty.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN required or attained within 2 years of start date.
• Minimum 2 years perioperative OR experience; 1 year in designated surgical specialty.
• Current CT state RN licensure and/or eligibility; specialty certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary clinical resource to the OR team in the designated specialty.
• Organize patient care activities and coordinate perioperative services.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure service excellence and readiness.
• Oversee OR throughput, staffing, and equipment resources.
• Lead and mentor staff, promote safety and quality in perioperative care.
