Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Perioperative Scheduler at Longmont United Hospital in Colorado. This role coordinates surgical and anesthesia procedures, maintains schedules, and ensures efficient use of resources with strong attention to detail and patient focus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Three (3) years of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate surgical and pre-admissions testing schedules for the perioperative department.
• Assign anesthesia and print/distribute schedules to relevant teams.
• Obtain information needed to schedule procedures and prevent delays.
• Manage add-ons, delays, emergencies, and other daily operational changes.
• Communicate with patients, physicians, and departments in a professional manner.
• Schedule procedures efficiently to minimize delays and maximize resource use.
