Job summary

The Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) seeks an experienced RN Periop-Procedural Team Coordinator to support the Perioperative Services line at MUSC Health. You will lead working specialty groups, ensure CTM attendance, and partner with SPD leadership to maintain teamwork, safety, and staff development across perioperative units.

Responsibilities include coordinating staffing, onboarding, and competency assessments; documenting issues and solutions; and collaborating with Perioperative

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing or enrollment in BSN program with 4-year completion and 2+ years perioperative nursing experience.
• CNOR certification required within 12 months of hire.
• SC Nursing license or compact state license required; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Support and proactively contribute to the Perioperative service line to achieve unit and organization goals.
• Lead/Co-Lead Working Specialty Groups and ensure CTMs attendance with documented action items.
• Collaborate with SPD leadership to optimize staffing, education, and performance within Perioperative units.
• Assist in staffing solutions, onboarding, and CTM evaluations; address performance concerns per policy.
• Drive improvements in clinical and non-clinical workflows to improve quality outcomes.
