Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston is seeking an RN Periop-Procedural Team Coordinator. The role focuses on achieving unit goals, improving quality metrics, coordinating staffing, and driving educational initiatives across Perioperative Services.

You will collaborate with SPD leadership and Perioperative units to standardize workflows, lead specialty groups, and support CTMs in performance and safety initiatives within MUSC Health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing or currently enrolled in BSN program with completion in four years and three years related Periop-nursing experience.
• CNOR certification required within 12 months of hire.
• Must have 2 years of Operating Room experience- scrub and circulate.
• RN licensure by South Carolina Board of Nursing; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Support and proactively contribute to achieving unit and organization goals in Perioperative Services.
• Coordinate staffing and participate in audits, education, and turnover activities.
• Lead and participate in specialty groups to improve safety and quality.
• Collaborate with SPD and Perioperative units to provide staffing solutions.
