Job summary

NYC Joint & Spine Center in Englewood, NJ is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to support pre-op, PACU, and OR patient care. You will assess patients, deliver individualized nursing care, monitor recovery, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures and optimal outcomes.

The role requires a NJ RN license, BLS with ACLS within 6 months, and 1 year of perioperative experience. Join a team focused on high-quality surgical care close to home.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current NJ RN license (unencumbered).
• Current BLS (ACLS required within 6 months).
• 1 year of OR or perioperative nursing experience (within last 3-5 years).
• Preferred: AORN membership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as circulating nurse, supporting patients, surgeons, and anesthesia staff during procedures.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in perioperative settings.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes during recovery.
• Ensure patient safety and aseptic/surgical standards compliance.
• Document accurately and communicate effectively with team members and patients.
• Maintain sterile environments and safety protocols.
• Support patient education and post-op instructions.
