Job summary

NYC Joint & Spine Center in Englewood, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse to support pre-op, PACU, and OR patient care. The RN will assess patients, deliver individualized nursing care, monitor recovery, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities include circulating during procedures, perioperative planning and evaluation, and maintaining sterile environments while educating patients on post-op care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current NJ RN license (unencumbered).
• At least 1 year of OR or perioperative nursing experience (within last 3–5 years).
• Current BLS (ACLS required within 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Serve as circulating nurse, supporting patients, surgeons, and anesthesia staff during procedures.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in perioperative settings.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes during recovery.
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with aseptic and surgical standards.
• Document accurately and communicate effectively with team members and patients.
• Maintain sterile environments and adhere to safety protocols.
• Support patient education and post-op instructions.
