Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of PreOp or PACU experience required.
• Medical/surgical nursing experience.
• Current state nursing license in good standing.
• BLS/BCLS within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment.
• PALS within 90 days if pediatric care is included.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient’s preoperative and postoperative status according to policies.
• Interpret monitors and describe pathophysiology of diseases.
• Develop an individualized perianesthesia plan of care.
• Implement plan of care including anesthesia recovery management and patient transfer.
