Job summary

CARTI Surgery Center in Little Rock, AR is seeking a Perioperative/ PACU Registered Nurse to deliver safe, patient-family centered care throughout the perioperative process. The role covers preoperative preparation and immediate post-anesthesia recovery for diverse patient populations.

The ideal candidate holds an Arkansas RN license, an Associate degree in nursing, BLS and ACLS certifications; CPAN/CAPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent and Arkansas RN licensure.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• CPAN or CAPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and prepare patients for surgery with informed consent.
• Monitor vital signs and readiness for procedures.
• Initiate IVs and educate patients on procedures.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and discharge criteria.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation in the EHR.
• Collaborate with care teams and participate in quality improvement.
