Job summary

Arkansas Heart Hospital, LLC. is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PACU focusing on Gen Surg and Cardiac Bypass Recovery. You will assess patients, develop care plans, and implement treatments in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include monitoring cardiac status, administering medications, and coordinating post-operative care and discharge planning. Requires RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, with PALS/ENPC or RCIS as applicable; full-time on-site role in Little Rock, AR.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
• Registered Nurse with current state licensure or Nursing Compact licensure.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment; ACLS certification required by orientation completion.
• PALS or ENPC certification required within one year for ED RNs; RCIS for Cath/EP Lab RNs within six months.
• Certifications to be renewed by the renewal date on the certification card.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments, develop and implement a plan of care.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and clinical practice.
• Lead and coordinate interdisciplinary care for cardiovascular patients.
• Document findings and communicate with the care team.
• Coordinate discharge planning with the care team.
• Perform point-of-care procedures and maintain quality control standards.
