Job summary

The CARTI Surgery Center seeks an experienced perioperative nurse to support preoperative and postoperative care across patient populations. You will prepare patients for surgery, monitor anesthesia recovery, document care in the electronic health record, and collaborate with physicians and the care team.

Qualifications include an associate degree or nursing diploma, Arkansas RN licensure, BLS; ACLS preferred. CPAN or CAPA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or nursing diploma from an accredited program.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and licensure to practice.
• Current Arkansas RN license with BLS; ACLS highly preferred.
• CPAN or CAPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports mission and provides perioperative patient care.
• Performs preoperative assessments and prepares patients for surgery.
• Monitors post-anesthesia recovery and documents care in the EHR.
• Communicates with supervisors, physicians, and team members.
• Collaborates with other disciplines and participates in quality improvements.
