Job summary

OrthoArkansas in Little Rock, AR, US is seeking a dedicated RN for Pre‑op/PACU to deliver safe, compassionate perioperative care from admission to discharge. You will manage medical records, prep clinical areas, administer medications, educate patients and coordinate with the surgical team to support optimal recovery.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and 12–18 months of relevant nursing experience. A four-year degree or higher is preferred; CNOR and BSN are a plus.

Qualifications

• RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Equivalent to a four-year college degree.
• 12 to 18 months of related nursing experience or equivalent mix of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Medical Records Management: complete and maintain accurate records per policy.
• Clinical Preparation and Organization: prep areas and verify emergency supplies.
• Patient Care and Medication Administration: administer meds per policies and assess pain.
• Patient Education and Coordination: obtain signed consents and explain postop care.
• Clinical Procedures and Assessments: perform nursing treatments, monitor vitals.
• Additional Duties: support daily operations and patient care delivery.
