Job summary

EyeCare Partners seeks a Pre-Admission Testing Registered Nurse for our ASC department. The role reports to the Charge Nurse and offers eight-hour shifts Monday through Friday, with pay in the $36–$39/hour range depending on experience. You will manage surgical patient pre-admissions, coordinate with schedulers, and ensure complete medical histories are obtained.

Required: BSN preferred, Graduate of accredited Nursing Program, current RN license, BCLS, and U.S. work eligibility.

Qualifications

• RN license and BCLS are required for this role.
• Graduate nursing program completion is mandatory.
• BSN preferred for advanced clinical practice.
• Minimum work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a computer database for tracking surgical patients.
• Receive communications from surgery schedulers to schedule patients.
• Obtain and review pre-admission testing for surgical patients.
• Conduct a phone assessment to gather medical and medication history.
• Coordinate with physicians and anesthesia staff for preoperative planning.
• Assess allergies and arrange allergy testing when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing

Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program

Current RN License

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
