Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at St. Francis Downtown. The role focuses on delivering exceptional nursing care, assessing patient status, coordinating with the surgical team, and ensuring a safe perioperative environment.

The RN will provide pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care, develop care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes. Strong organizational and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associate degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• ACLS/PALS/BL S certifications preferred or required based on department needs.
• CNOR certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients in the PACU.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team.
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Provide pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care and discharge instructions.
• Maintain safe and therapeutic environment.
