Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at St. Francis Eastside. The role involves on-call rotation and four 9-hour shifts with start times between 7am and 10am.

You will deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care, collaborate with the surgical team, and manage pre-, intra-, and post-op activities. Requires RN licensure and acute care experience; ACLS/PALS/BLS certifications are preferred and encouraged to obtain within six months.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in state of practice (required)
• Two years of RN experience in Critical Care (preferred)
• ACLS/PALS/BLS certifications as applicable (preferred)
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (Associates/Bachelors)

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients in PACU with strong organizational skills
• Assess patient status and prioritize needs
• Coordinate perioperative care across pre-, intra-, and post-op phases
• Support the surgical team and maintain a safe, comfortable environment
• Provide discharge instructions and care planning
• Contribute to interdisciplinary care and patient advocacy
