Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking an RN to join its peri-operative team in Edmonds, WA. This role delivers personalized patient care across pre-op, phase 1, phase 2, and recovery within a high-volume setting, emphasizing safety, accuracy, and compassionate service.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, 1+ year RN experience, 2+ years perioperative experience preferred, WA RN license, BLS and ACLS within 3 months.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• 1+ year of RN experience.
• 2+ years perioperative nursing (OR/PACU/ER/ICU preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the peri-operative setting (pre op, phase 1, phase 2).
• Care for patients from pediatrics to geriatrics in a high-volume environment.
• Maintain a clean, neat and efficient working environment.
• Perform ECG, urine pregnancy, glucometer, I-stat testing, bladder scan, PIV as required.
• Manage patient admission, recovery, and discharge from the ASC.
• Assess pre-operative vital signs and ensure patient identification accuracy.
• Ensure consents are accurate and complete.
• Assess pre-operative vital signs to ensure they are within acceptable parameters.
