Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Seattle seeks an RN Procedural Periop to provide high-quality nursing care for patients undergoing invasive or interventional procedures. You will lead nursing assessments, coordinate care, educate patients, and support seamless perioperative experiences.

The role requires WA RN licensure, CPR every two years, ACLS, and PACU/OR residency experience, with strong teamwork and EMR proficiency to ensure safe, patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Washington state licensure as an RN.
• CPR certification required every two years.
• ACLS certification.
• PALS may be required depending on location.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the WA State Board of Nursing.
• Completion of residency program with minimum two years in OR/PACU.
• Strong patient assessment skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care during invasive or interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Apply nursing process through assessment, triage, education, collaboration, and coordination of resources.
• Demonstrate proficiency in procedural and perioperative environments and communicate effectively with the care team.
