Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's OptumCare is seeking an RN for the ASC PACU in Edmonds. The role supports peri-operative care from pre-op through PACU, ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation in EPIC.

The ideal candidate has an RN license in WA, BLS, ACLS (within 3 months), and 1+ year of RN experience; PALS may be required within six months. A $10k sign-on is offered for external applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN license through Washington State Department of Health.
• BLS for Healthcare providers (AHA).
• ACLS certification for Healthcare providers (AHA) required within 3 months of hire.
• PALS certification may be required but may be obtained within the first six months of hire.
• 1+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the peri-operative setting (pre op, phase 1, phase 2).
• Care for patients from pediatrics to geriatrics in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
