Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver direct patient care in the outpatient setting and coordinate perianesthesia services in the Gonda 15 Center. You will provide sedation under physician direction, educate patients and families, and mentor peers in a dynamic surgical services environment.

The RN works across pre/post op areas with flexibility to cover different shifts, aligning with Mayo Clinic's patient-first philosophy and nursing professional

Qualifications

• RN license in applicable state required.
• One year of professional RN experience required.
• Experience in Surgical Services/PACU preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the outpatient setting.
• Coordinate and deliver perianesthesia care in pre/post areas.
• Provide moderate sedation under direction of anesthesiologist/proceduralist.
• Care for patients in pain procedural practices in the Gonda 15 Center.
• Educate patients and families and orient colleagues and peers.
