Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver direct patient care in an outpatient setting, coordinating peri-anesthesia services in the Gonda 15 Center and assisting with moderate sedation under supervision. The RN will educate patients and families, and support smooth transitions of care.

The role requires RN licensure and at least one year of RN experience, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, communication and leadership. TN sponsorship is available for this position.

Qualifications

• RN licensure and one year RN experience required
• Experience with peri-anesthesia or PACU is preferred
• Strong communication, teamwork and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the outpatient setting
• Coordinate and deliver peri-anesthesia care in pre/post area
• Perform moderate sedation under direction of anesthesiologist or proceduralist
• Educate patients and families and support transitions of care
