Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Gonda 15 Surgical Services Outpatient Procedure Center. You will deliver direct patient care in the pre/post anesthesia setting, provide education, and coordinate perianesthesia services under the direction of the anesthesiologist or proceduralist.

The role requires a current RN license, at least one year of professional RN experience, and flexibility to cover variable shifts.

Qualifications

• RN license in applicable state required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional RN experience.
• BSN within five years from RN start date may be required for some roles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the pre/post anesthesia setting.
• Coordinate perianesthesia care and assist with moderate sedation.
• Educate patients and families; document care and transitions of care.
• Support nursing leadership and participate in quality improvement.
