Job summary

Optum, part of the Optum family, is hiring a Part-time RN II for the OR/ASC at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic Springwood Villages in Spring, TX. The role requires experience across multiple surgical service lines, strong patient communication, and adherence to perioperative standards.

Required ASN or higher, Texas RN license, BLS, and 2+ years in OR; ASC or hospital setting experience preferred. BSN and ACLS/PALS are a plus. Competitive benefits and contingent shifts available.

Qualifications

• ASN or higher nursing degree.
• Active Texas RN license or compact license.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.
• 2+ years of RN in Operating Room.
• RN experience in ASC or hospital setting.
• BSN preferred.
• ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across multiple surgical service lines.
• Communicate patient information clearly to physicians, anesthesia, and staff.
• Perform safe operative nursing care according to policies and AORN/ASPAN standards.
