Job summary

Prime Healthcare–Bridgton Hospital is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to support the perioperative team. The role involves direct and indirect patient care within the perioperative setting, collaborating with surgeons and anesthesiologists, and guiding OR staff to ensure safe, efficient patient flow.

Requirements include an active RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and perioperative experience. CNOR certification and BSN are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain.
• ACLS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain.
• PALS (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain.
• Minimum of one year previous perioperative experience or on the job training.
• CNOR certification (AORN) preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting."
• Coordinate care with the surgeon and anesthesiologist and direct OR staff.
• Ensure adherence to regulations, standards and hospital policies.
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities and unit meetings.
